Job OverView:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control (QC) Engineer to ensure the accuracy, stability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. The QC Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing both manual and automated tests, validating new features, and identifying issues before release. This role requires a mix of technical testing expertise, analytical thinking, and collaboration with development and project teams to uphold product quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and system testing.

  • Create and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Postman.

  • Azure DevOps or Jira for test case management, bugs tracking, and reporting.

  • Collaborate closely with development teams to understand new features and verify fixes.

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint deliverables.

  • Document test results, bugs, and quality metrics clearly and accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in software testing.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or Jira.

  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress.

  • Familiarity with API testing (Postman, RestAssured).

  • Basic understanding of SQL for data validation and backend testing.

  • Knowledge of version control tools (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Exposure to Performance Testing or Security Testing is a plus.

  • Experience with eCommerce or ERP systems is a plus.
