Requirements
- 1 year of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Job Purpose:
The Presales Engineer assists the Presales team to gather prospects' requirements, participate in providing answers for RFP/RFIs, prepares and delivers ASSET or solution-based product presentations and demonstrations, trains ASSET partners, reports/performs competitive analysis, reports feedback collected from prospects/customers, and delivers proof of concepts which meet customer business requirements.
He will assist in handling technical questions or issues that arise during the sales cycle and help in setting appropriate customer expectations.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Functions Activities
- Learns new products and technologies necessary for the presales activities.
- Participates in analyzing RFQ/RFP with the cooperation of senior presales members.
- Participates in conferences, shows, exhibitions when appropriate and requested.
- Participates in defining solution specifications and shares in building customized demonstrations (POCs) and presentations directly related to the assigned opportunity.
- Participates in proposals preparation.
2. Customer Relation Management
- Gets involved in customer meetings with the guidance and assistance of senior staff.
- Gets involved with customer objections by assisting in determining the real business problem.
- Assesses a customer's business problem and recommends appropriate solutions.
3. Requirements Analysis
- Explores products' capabilities and tools to assess the feasibility of customer requirements.
- Develops and verifies customer requirements and ensures their quality and accurate coverage of the project scope.
- Translates business and non-functional requirements into technical requirements.
4. Communication Management
- Reports accurate task status in a timely manner to the direct supervisor.
- Escalates the critical issues to the direct manager in a timely manner and recommends corrective actions.
5. Time Management
- Sticks to assigned tasks deadlines.
6. Self-Development
- Maintains technical competence and keeps up-to-date with the latest technological trends.
- Always updates personal capabilities.
7. Contribution in Organization Development
- Complies with the company rules and regulations.
- Complies with the company policies regarding security of information, safety, quality standards, and business conduct standards.
- Participates in all company activities, surveys, etc.
8. Other Functions
- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned by the direct manager.
