We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior Mechanical Technical Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide advanced technical expertise in mechanical engineering and lead project teams toward the successful implementation of mechanical systems within major construction or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems (HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting) in accordance with project requirements, international codes, and industry standards.
  • Review, develop, and coordinate
    MEP Shop Drawings
    and ensure their alignment with IFC drawings and project specifications.
  • Provide
    technical guidance and mentoring
    to engineering teams throughout all project stages.
  • Conduct detailed mechanical analyses including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics simulations to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams: architects, civil engineers, electrical engineers, and stakeholders to deliver comprehensive engineering solutions.
  • Ensure mechanical deliverables are
    BIM-compliant
    , actively collaborating with BIM teams for model coordination and clash detection.
  • Review and approve mechanical design documents, calculations, and specifications.
  • Perform site inspections to verify proper installation of mechanical systems and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Supervise system testing, commissioning, and performance verification.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during execution and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to resolve them.
  • Stay updated with the latest engineering technologies and sustainability practices.
  • Support HSE initiatives and ensure compliance with IMS and company policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical systems within
    MEP contracting or consultancy
    .
  • Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IPC, etc.).
  • Proficiency in
    HVAC design, plumbing layouts, fire protection systems
    , and energy-efficient solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with
    BIM software (Revit)
    and coordination using
    Navisworks
    .
  • Strong command of
    BIM software
    and proficiency in developing and reviewing
    shop drawings
    .
  • Excellent project management skills: budgeting, planning, and resource allocation.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • ERP knowledge—preferably
    SAP
    —is mandatory.
