Role Description

The Transit Acceptance Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. The manager will lead, monitor, and coordinate all aspects of the transit acceptance process, ensuring successful program execution. Responsibilities include managing timelines, communicating across teams and stakeholders, analyzing data for process improvements, preparing program status reports, and resolving operational challenges. The role also entails ensuring compliance with relevant standards, maintaining effective communication with clients, and delivering high-quality program results on time and within budget.

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

1. Responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation of multiple acceptance initiatives related to

Transit digitization, in collaboration with partner ecosystems including banks, government bodies and internal

teams.

1. Will be the primary point-of-contact for end-to-end coordination and execution of the Transit digitization

program.

1. The Program Manager is expected to demonstrate deep technical knowledge of MPGS merchant onboarding,

preferably with experience in Transit systems.

1. The position holder will advocate and communicate the solution to the relevant stakeholders and incorporate

operational model changes if necessary.

1. The Program Manager will work closely with the technical teams, advisors, and acquiring cross-functional teams

to coordinate launch of Transit acceptance.

1. Facilitates project coordination and plans execution according to set timelines in collaboration with external

vendors. Formulate and implement transaction migration strategy to ensure optimal utilization of digital

platforms

1. Provide full project management documentation and tracking timelines and deliverables for digital projects

2. Liaise with service delivery partners and vendors (i.e. in-house partners and other service partners and vendors -

payment processors, other providers, etc.)

1. Review KPI reports; define and implement actions in cooperation with service vendors to improve service levels to

increase or maintain customer satisfaction and to minimize operational risk.

1. Have regular reviews with the business team, update them about major operational incidents and the status of

operational risks

1. Have good business acumen to spot and communicate new opportunities based on customer needs and industry

trends.

Knowledge and Experience

1. Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

2. Experience in portfolio analysis, card product development and LCM

3.Experience creating and managing card portfolio with proven results

1. Demonstrates knowledge of issuing regulatory requirements

2. Stakeholder management and influencing skills for problem solving

3. Change Management and Project management methodologies

4. Ability to communicate efficiently with both business and technical/operational units at various organizational

levels

1. Exceptional project management, budget management, negotiation, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Program Management, including task scheduling, meeting deadlines, and stakeholder coordination
• Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical skills for addressing operational challenges and improving processes
• Effective Communication and Team Collaboration skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of Risk and Quality Management within program contexts
• Familiarity with Transit Systems or Public Infrastructure Projects is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams and manage multiple priorities
