We are looking for a motivated Junior R&D Specialist to join our Research & Development team. In this role, you will assist in formulating, testing, and refining products that meet industry standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, curious, and passionate about innovation, with a solid background in chemistry, material science, or a related field. You will play a key role in developing advanced materials and ensuring high product quality through structured testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities


• Assist in the formulation and development of new products, including decorative paints, coatings, and surface materials.


• Conduct laboratory experiments, tests, and analyses to assess product performance and durability.


• Support improvements of existing formulations to enhance performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.


• Document research findings, test results, and product specifications with clarity and accuracy.


• Collaborate with production teams to facilitate smooth scale-up from laboratory to manufacturing.


• Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies to propose innovative ideas.


• Assist in quality control by testing and inspecting raw materials and finished products.


• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized laboratory environment in accordance with safety protocols.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.


• 1–3 years of R&D experience, preferably in paints, coatings, or construction materials (fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome to apply).


• Basic understanding of material properties, formulation techniques, and testing methods.


• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and data analysis tools.


• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


• Clear communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills


• Experience with cementitious materials, polymers, or water-based coatings.


• Familiarity with sustainable product development practices.


• Knowledge of industry standards and testing protocols.

Work Environment


• This role is primarily based in the laboratory, with occasional visits to project sites.
