Key Responsibilities:


• Perform regular and surprise audits at store locations to evaluate financial records, inventory accuracy, and operational compliance.


• Review cash handling procedures, point-of-sale (POS) transactions, and daily sales reconciliations.


• Audit inventory levels, stock movement, shrinkage reports, and loss prevention practices.


• Assess compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines.


• Identify risks, fraud, or non-compliance issues and report findings to management with clear documentation and evidence.


• Collaborate with store managers and staff to gather audit-related information and explain audit objectives.


• Provide actionable recommendations to improve store performance, internal controls, and risk mitigation strategies.


• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, root causes, and suggested corrective actions.


• Follow up on previous audits to ensure implementation of recommendations.


• Stay up to date with internal audit standards, retail trends, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree.


• Minimum of 2–3 years of auditing experience, preferably in a retail or store environment.


• Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, financial controls, and retail operations.


• Excellent analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit-related software/tools.


• Ability to travel to different store locations as required.
