Internship Details

     Software Engineer Intern (Python)
  • Location:
     Full Time (New Cairo Office)
  • Duration:
     3 Months (Paid)

What You'll Do:

  • Build and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python
  • Develop web scraping solutions to extract and process data from various sources
  • Work with APIs to integrate and automate workflows across our platform
  • Write clean, modular, and testable code following basic software engineering principles
  • Work with databases (e.g. PostgreSQL / MySQL) for storing and processing scraped data
  • Automate repetitive tasks and operational processes to improve efficiency
  • Debug, optimize, and improve performance of existing automation tools
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to identify automation opportunities and ship real features, not just "training tasks"
  • Learn and follow Git workflows (branches, pull requests, code reviews)

What We're Looking For:

  • 0–1 year of experience in software development (internships, projects, or freelance)
  • Solid understanding of Python (syntax, functions, OOP, error handling)
  • Experience or strong interest in web scraping (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, or similar)
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting
  • Basic understanding of APIs and data formats (JSON, CSV, XML)
  • Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL
  • Experience using Git or other version control tools
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Eager to learn, receive feedback, and grow quickly in a fast-moving startup environment
