Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Interior Designer based in Cairo, Egypt. The Junior Interior Designer will assist in planning and creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. Responsibilities include creating interior design proposals, generating space planning layouts, producing construction drawings, and selecting furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). The candidate will collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project execution aligns with design objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design for both residential and commercial projects
  • Knowledge of Architecture and ability to collaborate effectively with architects and construction professionals
  • Experience in producing accurate and detailed Construction Drawings
  • Skills in selecting and specifying FF&E (furnishings, fixtures, and equipment)
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
  • Prior internship or 1-3 years of experience in an interior design or related role is preferred
