Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and interpret client drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure compliance with fire fighting standards and Meteory-approved systems (FM200, CO2, etc.).

Perform quantity surveying for all fire fighting products—calculate required materials and equipment for each project, including suppression systems.

Prepare detailed bills of quantities, cost estimates, and support procurement for fire fighting installations.

Collaborate with project and design teams to verify project requirements and technical documentation before execution.

Ensure all fire fighting designs meet national/international codes (NFPA, FM, and local standards) and Meteory's quality criteria.

Prepare and submit technical reports, compliance documentation, and cost breakdowns for client and internal review.

Provide technical support, clarification, and coordination with clients, consultants, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; specialized training in fire protection is a plus.

3–5 years of hands-on experience in quantity surveying and technical work within fire fighting or fire protection systems.

Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and extracting information from CAD (AutoCad) drawings for fire fighting and suppression systems.

Solid knowledge of suppression systems (FM200, CO2, water mist) and fire safety codes (NFPA, FM, local standards).

Strong skills in interpreting and analyzing engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

Proficiency in preparing bills of quantities, cost estimates, and technical documentation for fire protection systems.

Excellent organizational, communication, and client-facing skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
