Production Engineer
to join our dynamic team at our Factory in October facility. This is a critical role responsible for optimizing our steel production processes, ensuring maximum efficiency, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization:
    Analyze current production workflows (e.g., rolling, casting, finishing) and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operational costs while maintaining product quality.
  • Quality Control:
    Monitor production metrics and standards, identifying and addressing root causes of defects or deviations. Implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    Ensure all production activities adhere strictly to internal safety protocols, as well as local and national environmental and safety regulations for the steel industry.
  • Equipment Management:
    Collaborate with maintenance teams on the preventative maintenance schedule and specification of new equipment or upgrades to enhance production capabilities.
  • Team Leadership:
    Provide technical guidance and support to production operators and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Reporting:
    Generate detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production output, key performance indicators (KPIs), resource utilization, and operational challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in
    Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering
    , or a closely related field.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of
    2-4 years of professional experience
    as a Production Engineer, Process Engineer, or similar role, specifically within the
    steel, heavy metal, or high-temperature manufacturing industry.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes (e.g., EAF/BOF steelmaking, continuous casting, hot/cold rolling).
  • Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software and process simulation tools is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Must be a proactive self-starter with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
