A Geotechnical Design Engineer is responsible for evaluating subsurface conditions and designing foundations, earthworks, and other geotechnical systems to ensure the safety and stability of construction projects.

Job Description

  • Conduct geotechnical site investigations including drilling
  • Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater data to assess site suitability.
  • Design foundations (shallow and deep), retaining walls, slopes, embankments, and ground improvement systems.
  • Prepare geotechnical reports, design calculations, and construction recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and international standards.
  • Collaborate with civil, structural, and environmental engineers.
  • Provide technical support during construction and resolve geotechnical issues on-site.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of soil mechanics and foundation engineering.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical modeling software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
