𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
HSE Engineer

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:

** Conduct regular inspections and site visits of operational sites, such as gas distribution stations, pipelines, scaffoldings and facilities. This includes checking for compliance with safety and environmental regulations, inspecting equipment, and identifying potential hazards or unsafe practices.

** Observing daily operations to ensure that safety procedures are being followed. This might involve monitoring how employees use personal protective equipment (PPE), adhere to safety protocols, and handle materials and equipment safely.

** Identifying and assessing potential hazards on-site. This includes checking for issues such as gas leaks, structural integrity of facilities, and proper functioning of safety systems like gas detection and emergency shut-off systems.

** Conducting or participating in emergency response drills to test the effectiveness of emergency plans and the preparedness of the team.

** Verifying that operations comply with both internal policies and external regulations.

** Reviewing maintenance activities to ensure that they are performed correctly and safely.

** Providing on-the-spot training or guidance to employees if unsafe practices are observed or if new procedures are being implemented.

** In the event of an incident or near-miss, visiting the site to gather information, investigate the cause, and assess the immediate and underlying factors.

** Recording observations, findings, and recommendations during site visits. This includes preparing detailed reports and follow-up actions for any issues identified.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: 𝐖𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫:

** Mechanical/ electrical / chemical engineering or science background

** 2 - 5 years maximum HSE experience at construction sites or oil and gas companies

** Have OSH certificates; NIOSH, OSHA, NEBOSH IGC or any relative OSH courses.

** ISO standards and Management system documentation extensive knowledge (ISO9001 / 14001 / 45001 / is a must.

** Able to carried out Risk assessment, review HSE plans and conduct HSE trainings.

** Extreme knowledge of fire-fighting and fire alarm system design and codes is a must

** Excellent level of Excel, Power point and all Microsoft office package

** Knowledge of OSH Egyptian labor law, environmental laws and other requirements

** Have a driving license and safe driving basics
