We're Hiring: Railway Alignment Design Engineer

We are seeking a
Railway Alignment Design Engineer
to join our growing
Rail Engineering team

The successful candidate will be responsible for the
geometric design of railway alignments
- including horizontal and vertical geometry, turnout layouts, and corridor integration - from concept through detailed design.

You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, geotechnical, BIM, and environmental) to deliver
state-of-the-art railway infrastructure
that connects communities and shapes the future of rail transport.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop
    horizontal and vertical alignments
    in accordance with
    EN, UIC, AREMA
    , and other international railway standards.
  • Prepare
    alignment drawings, plan/profile sheets
    , and
    3D corridor models
    using industry-standard software.
  • Collaborate with experts across
    track, civil, drainage, structures, signaling, and power supply
    disciplines.
  • Conduct
    route feasibility and optimization studies
    using GIS and digital terrain models.
  • Participate in
    BIM coordination
    and design data management for major rail projects.
  • Support
    quantity estimation, design documentation
    , and
    client presentations
    .
  • Ensure all work complies with
    quality, safety, and environmental standards
    .


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • Minimum
    7 years of experience
    in railway linear infrastructure alignment design.
  • Proficiency in
    Bentley Open Rail Designer, Autodesk Civil 3D, CARD/1
    , or similar railway design software.
  • Profound knowledge of
    railway geometric design principles
    (cant, transition curves, turnouts).
  • Strong
    analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
    .
  • Excellent
    communication skills in English
    .
