Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Procurement Specialist, located in Cairo, Egypt. The role involves managing purchase orders, evaluating suppliers, and leading contract negotiations to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability. The Senior Procurement Specialist will analyze procurement data, optimize sourcing strategies, and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Coordination with internal departments and maintaining strong vendor relationships will also form a part of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience, preferably in telecommunications companies and mobile towers.
  • Expertise in Supplier Evaluation and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes
  • Proficiency in preparing and managing Purchase Orders
  • Strong Analytical Skills to assess procurement opportunities and risks
  • Excellent Communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools is an advantage
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Experience in the telecom, civil, or manufacturing industries is a plus

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 5–8 years of experience in procurement within the telecommunications, contracting, or mobile tower sectors, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong supplier management, negotiation, and financial analysis skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in ERP/SAP software and electronic procurement systems.
  • V. Good in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to make strategic decisions and manage diverse teams.
