Job Summary

The Technical Office Engineer (Architectural) will be responsible for reviewing project specifications, ensuring compliance with design intent, and coordinating between consultants, contractors, and clients. This role ensures that all architectural works meet quality, design, and technical standards throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and confirm project specifications, materials, finishes, and design elements to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with consultants, contractors, and clients to maintain compliance with approved specifications and drawings.
  • Verify that materials, designs, and construction methods meet required standards and project criteria.
  • Prepare, review, and update technical documentation, drawings, and submittals.
  • Support the project team in resolving technical discrepancies or design-related issues.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with the design intent, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in meetings with stakeholders to clarify specifications, technical details, and design coordination points.
  • Assist in monitoring project progress to ensure timely and quality delivery of architectural works.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a closely related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Technical Office Engineer or in a similar architectural/engineering role.
  • Previous experience working on construction or architectural projects.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of architectural drawings, materials, and construction methods.
  • Familiarity with design review and quality assurance processes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret complex architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Commitment to maintaining design integrity and project quality.
  • Flexibility to work in a collaborative, fast-paced project environment.
