Role Description
AlfaGroup Integrated Systems is seeking a talented and experienced Presales Engineer in Light current and ICT solutions to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our sales team, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible solutions tailored to their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions in light current / ICT systems.
- Provide technical expertise to the sales team during the presales process. ·
- Prepare technical proposals, including system architecture, specifications, and costing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
- Conduct site surveys to assess customer needs and system requirements.
- Create detailed design documentation, including schematics and technical specifications.
- Build technical responses (e.g., technical proposal, compliance requirements etc.) and technical solutions during RFP/RFI
- · Provide technical presentations, demonstrations and proof-of-concepts of our products and solutions to potential clients.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and translate these into technical solutions
- Collaborate with the project implementation team to ensure smooth transition from presales to project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, with a focus on light current/ICT solutions (e.g., Surveillance Systems, Access Control, Audio-Visual Fire Alarm Systems, building management systems, FTTx, network passive/active infrastructure etc.).
- Strong technical knowledge of light current systems and their applications.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Strong connection network with vendors in ICT and light Current Field
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, or similar tools for system design
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and site visits.
- Knowledge of AI technologies is a plus
