Job Summary:
We're hiring a
Bid Manager
to lead our bid and proposal process from start to finish. In this key role, you'll be responsible for developing winning strategies and coordinating with various internal teams—including sales, operations, and pricing—to create high-quality, persuasive proposals. You'll ensure our bids are competitive, compliant, and clearly articulate our value proposition to potential clients.
Key responsibilities and tasks:
- Lead the end-to-end responses to RFP, RFI and proactive proposals.
- Execute solution strategies for complex projects and large-scale contracts, which align with the company's goals and client requirements, while ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate opportunity review workshops, and liaise with internal stakeholders, such as sales, operations, technical, legal and pricing, to gather information and develop solution strategies.
- Develop compelling and persuasive sales materials and presentations, including executive summaries, value propositions and technical responses.
- Continuously refine and improve bid processes, templates and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work with pricing teams to develop competitive pricing strategies that align with requirements and profitability targets.
- Maintaining comprehensive and accurate company documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, competitor activity and emerging best practices in our sector.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (communication, marketing, business or related field).
- +3 years of experience as a bid manager, product manager, or sales manager.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in proposal preparation and review.
- Strategic thinking capability with high analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create visually appealing and engaging sales materials.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Preferred skills:
- Background in BPO, technology or consultancy.
- Experience in pricing strategies.
