As a Staff Integration Engineer at Sumerge, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated integration solutions that drive our clients' success. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating diverse systems and ensuring seamless data flow across our client's digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement integration solutions using technologies like IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and other relevant middleware
  • Engage in architectural reviews and ensure integration solutions align with best practices
  • Optimize and enhance the performance of existing integrations for improved efficiency
  • Work closely with development teams to define APIs and onboarding processes
  • Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices for integration processes
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions that exceed expectations
  • Oversee the entire integration lifecycle, adhering to project timelines and quality standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in integration engineering or a similar role

  • Extensive knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, and middleware technologies

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
