Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching. The role ensures accurate inventory management through FIFO/FEFO practices, regular cycle counts, and proper ERP documentation. Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining warehouse organization and ISO compliance, enforcing safety standards, and coordinating with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Project teams to ensure timely material availability. The supervisor also prepares routine warehouse performance reports and helps maintain high productivity and discipline.

Key Responsibilities:


• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatching.


• Ensure all goods are accurately received, inspected, labeled, and stored in designated locations.


• Monitor stock movements to maintain FIFO/FEFO practices.


• Ensure timely fulfillment of internal and external requests (PRs, POs, Sales Orders).


• Prevent stock variances and ensure tight control of high-value and critical items.


• Conduct daily cycle counts and monthly/quarterly physical counts.


• Investigate discrepancies and issue proper adjustment reports.


• Coordinate with Finance and Supply Chain to align on stock accuracy.


• Ensure all warehouse transactions are accurately recorded on the ERP (Receiving, Delivery Orders, Transfers, Adjustments).


• Validate GRNs, delivery notes, stock transfers, and inventory adjustments.


• Maintain updated location mapping and bin structure on the ERP.


• Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.


• Provide on-the-job training on housekeeping, safety, and ERP usage.


• Ensure discipline, accountability, and productivity levels.


• Ensure warehouse is always clean, organized, and compliant with ISO standards.


• Implement and enforce safety rules regarding storage, material handling, and equipment use.


• Coordinate with HSE team for periodic inspections.


• Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Sales, and Project teams regarding deliveries, shortages, and urgent material needs.


• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse performance reports.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Diploma with strong experience may also be acceptable).


• 5–7+ years of hands-on warehouse experience, supervisory or team-lead role.


• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, MS Dynamics, or similar) with strong understanding of warehouse modules.


• Solid understanding of inventory control principles (FIFO/FEFO, cycle counting, stock accuracy).
