About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI and excellent MySQL knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, building dashboards, optimizing data pipelines, and transforming business information into actionable insights.

You will play a key role in supporting decision-making across different departments by providing accurate and well-structured reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.

Write and optimize advanced MySQL queries, stored procedures, and views.

Develop DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and scalable data schemas.

Collect, clean, normalize, and validate data from different sources (Excel, ERP, CRM, APIs, etc.).

Identify business trends, correlations, and insights to support strategic and operational decisions.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across reporting systems.

Work closely with technical and business teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver meaningful solutions.

Maintain documentation for datasets, models, metrics, and dashboards.

Required Skills & Experience

2–4 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or a similar analytical role.

Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI (Power Query, DAX, Data Modeling).

Excellent MySQL skills, including:

Complex joins

Window functions

Index optimization

Stored procedures

Query performance tuning

Database schema understanding

Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate business requirements into metrics and dashboards.

Ability to clean and structure large datasets from multiple sources.

Nice-to-Have (Not Required)

Experience with Python or R for automation or statistical analysis.

Knowledge of ETL processes or BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Metabase).

Experience working with APIs or cloud data sources (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, BigQuery, Snowflake).
