Major accountabilities:

  • Define current and future portfolio for Gulf & Levant and Saudi markets in cooperation with internal interfaces
  • Provide input into 5-year Strategic Plan for Gulf & Levant and Saudi countries
  • Ensure timely preparation of submission plans and their implementations
  • Co-ordinate between countries' portfolio lead, marketing, supply chain and DRA to prepare business cases for portfolio projects, portfolio review meetings and for senior management approval
  • Drive launch excellence / pre-launch evaluation and apply best practices to ensure new launches are successful on country level with high regional scale.
  • Be the primary contact with regional portfolio team to evaluate local launched in G&L and Saudi and adapt regional portfolio strategies to local market needs
  • Design strategic business development priorities at each year, to drive the profitable growth of Sandoz in GL & SA, and contribute the other Sandoz strategic priorities
  • Lead business case development, using financial modelling and valuation analyses incorporating probability, cost, budget impacts, and returns to allow for optimal strategic and investment decision making

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in pharmaceuticals, Medicine, business or finance desirable

  • Min. 7 years+ total experience including 5 years as Product / Portfolio Manager

  • Fluent in English and Country language
