Role Description

This full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, is for a Procurement Section Head specializing in Civil works. In this position, the individual will oversee procurement activities, evaluate supplier agreements, and manage contract negotiations. Key responsibilities include sourcing materials, maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring procurement compliance with project specifications, and collaborating with the engineering and project management teams to maintain cost efficiency and timely project completion.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in Procurement Management, Vendor Coordination, and Supplier Relationship Management
  • Knowledge and experience in Civil Engineering, Construction Materials, and Project Management
  • Proficiency in Contract Negotiation, Compliance, and Documentation Handling
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with an ability to develop cost-effective strategies
  • Effective communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to work on-site in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Master's degree is considered an asset
  • Experience in major contracting or engineering firms is advantageous
