Foreign Sourcing Engineer Oil&Gas

*Duties & Responsibilities* :


•Implement sourcing processes with attention to details - from selecting the right product/ services with competitive technical and commercial package, executing orders till received and accepted by client.


•Develops strategic sourcing relationships with foreign suppliers, and more importantly the original supply source (parent company) to get the best prices.


•Seek out potential suppliers, lead negotiations, and secure deals that bring value both in costs, quality, and delivery.


•Prepare periodical reports (Monthly, Quarterly, Semiannual and annual) to demonstrate our strengths, weaknesses and areas of improvements.


•Maintain effective track system to monitor all requests, orders and product deliveries. Also, He keeps an up-to-date administration of all purchasing involved data and documents.


•Sending the approved supply order to the supplier in addition to handing over the original of the file to the financial management to proceed with the payment procedures. resolving invoice price and terms discrepancies to enable order processing


•Coordinate with the supplier regarding the expected shipping time and confirm the documents required for shipment to avoid any problems that impede the shipping process.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

2–6 years of experience in foreign procurement or sourcing.

Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

Experience with ERP systems preferred.

Good understanding of Incoterms and international shipping procedures.

Excellent English (oral & written).
