Wago is hiring a Backend Developer to work on a multi-service mobile application built on Flutter (iOS & Android).

The role focuses on building and maintaining booking systems, service provider workflows, and e-commerce features, all supported by a stable and secure backend.

Responsibilities


• Develop and maintain the backend services powering our multi-service Flutter mobile app.


• Build and manage booking flows (scheduling, availability, confirmation, notifications).


• Set up and manage service provider logic (profiles, dashboards, availability, approvals).


• Develop e-commerce modules including product management, cart, checkout, and orders.


• Create and maintain REST APIs and ensure smooth communication with the Flutter frontend.


• Work with the team to integrate features like service onboarding, fulfillment flows, and customer interactions.


• Maintain GitHub repositories, version control, and clean code practices.


• Ensure backend quality: security, performance, scalability, and error-free operations.


• Collaborate with mobile, operations, and product teams.

Requirements


• 2-5+ years experience as a Backend Developer.


• Strong experience with frameworks such as , Laravel, Django, or similar.


• Experience building apps that include:


• Bookings or scheduling features


• Service provider modules


• E-commerce or transactional systems


• Strong understanding of API development, authentication, and secure architecture.


• Solid understanding of databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).


• Proficiency with GitHub (branches, commits, pull requests).


• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and meet timelines.


• Must be ready to join immediately


• Experience with multi-service apps (any industry).


• Experience building or integrating admin dashboards.


• Experience with apps involving delivery, logistics, or real-time updates.


• Familiarity with security best practices and API performance optimization.
