Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time role located in Cairo, Egypt, for an Alumni Affairs Specialist. The role involves managing alumni engagement initiatives, organizing events and networking opportunities, and developing communication channels to keep alumni informed about university updates. The specialist will maintain alumni databases, coordinate with university departments, and facilitate mentorship programs connecting alumni with current students. Additional responsibilities include evaluating the effectiveness of alumni outreach efforts and proposing new strategies to strengthen connections within the alumni community.

Qualifications

  • Strong event planning, coordination, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in database management and using digital platforms for engagement
  • Knowledge in marketing and community building strategies
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and demonstrate leadership
  • Familiarity with the higher education sector and alumni relations is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
