Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Back End Developer. The Back End Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side web applications. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, efficient, and scalable code, collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, and ensuring the performance and responsiveness of applications. The role also involves debugging and troubleshooting issues, implementing security measures, and staying updated with emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming skills
  • Basic knowledge of Front-End Development
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with cloud platforms and database management is a plus

Requirements:

  • More than 2 years of experience with the NestJS framework
  • Strong knowledge of  and TypeScript
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2, etc.)
  • Experience with Docker or other containerization tools is a plus
  • Basic understanding of cloud environments (Hetzner, AWS, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Git and version control workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with frontend and mobile teams
