Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Accountant based in Badr City. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analysing cost reports, maintaining cost accounting systems, and performing variance analysis. Day-to-day tasks include handling journal entries, reconciling inventory accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements. The role also includes identifying cost reduction opportunities and supporting the finance team with budgeting and forecasting activities.

Job Requirements


• solid years of Cost Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment


•      Bachelor's Degree in Accounting


•      Must have a strong Cost Systems background and have excellent analytical skills; sound understanding of accounting principles.


•      Computer Literate – Strong Excel skills and the ability to use Outlook and Word


•      Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports

•      Prepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly gross margin analysis.


•      Prepare collateral reporting.


•      Maintain internal control documentation and test internal controls.


•      Records cost information for use in controlling expenditures.


•      Analyzing data collected and recording results


•      Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures


•      Reconciles finished goods inventories

Qualifications


•      
Proficiency in Cost Accounting and Finance


•      
Experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Journal Entries


•      
Strong Analytical Skills


•      
Excellent written and verbal communication skills


•      
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment


•      
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


•      
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
