Project Background
Etijah is a national NGO dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing, skills, and socio-economic opportunities of young people and adults across Egypt. As part of our commitment to improving worker wellbeing and promoting safe, productive, and harmonious workplaces, Etijah is implementing short mental and psychological health awareness sessions targeting blue-collar workers in selected factories and work settings.

These sessions aim to increase workers' understanding of mental wellbeing, strengthen positive coping mechanisms, and contribute to improved productivity, attention, safety, and teamwork. The content will be practical, accessible, and directly relevant to workers' daily experiences.

Key Components Of The Consultancy
To design and deliver a series of short, practical, and engaging awareness sessions on mental and psychological health for blue-collar workers to support enhanced productivity, safety, and overall workplace harmony.

Scope of Work

The Expert Will
Develop a concise session outline tailored to blue-collar workers with varying literacy levels.

Design and deliver interactive sessions (1 to 1.5 hours each) that cover the following essential topics:

What is mental health?

Understanding the concept in simple, everyday terms.

How Mental Wellbeing Directly Affects
Productivity

Concentration and attention

Risk of mistakes and workplace accidents

Absenteeism and presenteeism

Why emotions are part of the "tools of the job" and influence performance.

Practical strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and fatigue.

Simple and realistic self-care tips to support daily wellbeing.

Use participatory and practical facilitation methods appropriate for blue-collar workers, including relatable examples and simple exercises.

Provide brief feedback to Etijah on general observations and recommendations following the delivery of the sessions.

Ensure all content is culturally appropriate, non-stigmatizing, and aligned with workplace wellbeing standards.

Duration & Level of Effort

Each awareness session will be 1 to 1.5 hours.

The total number of sessions and scheduling will be confirmed based on the workplace operational context.

Required Qualifications And Expertise
Advanced degree in psychology, mental health, counseling, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mental wellbeing, psychosocial support, workplace health, or occupational safety.

Demonstrated experience engaging blue-collar workers or diverse adult groups.

Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts into practical guidance.

Proven facilitation skills using interactive, adult-learning approaches.

Delivery of all assigned sessions (1–1.5 hours each).
