Key Responsibilities

  1. Cash & Liquidity Management

  2. Monitor daily cash balances, inflows, and outflows to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.

  3. Execute intercompany transfers, settlements, and payments in line with approved authority levels.

  4. Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.

  5. Banking Operations & Relationships

  6. Maintain effective working relationships with banks and financial institutions.

  7. Ensure timely execution of trade finance instruments (LCs, LGs, collections, factoring settlements, etc.).

  8. Monitor bank charges and optimize banking costs.

  9. Funding & Investments

  10. Support execution of financing facilities (loans, credit lines, leasing/factoring back-to-back funding).

  11. Monitor compliance with debt covenants and gearing/DSR ratios.

  12. Assist in evaluating short-term investment options for surplus funds.

  13. Risk & Compliance

  14. Ensure all treasury activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements (FRA, CBE, IFRS, etc.).

  15. Monitor exposure to FX and interest rate risks; escalate risk positions to management.

  16. Support hedging strategies where applicable.

  17. Reporting & Analysis

  18. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly treasury reports (cash position, funding utilization, maturity profiles).

  19. Provide management with variance analyses against budgeted cash flow.
  20. Support auditors with treasury-related documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 5–8 years of relevant treasury, banking, or corporate finance experience.
  • Solid understanding of cash management, trade finance, and financial instruments.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP/TMS systems.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) certification is a must.
  • Strong command of English language (spoken and written) is mandatory.
