We are looking for a talented and experienced Social Media Account Manager to lead and execute strategic social media campaigns, manage key client relationships, and oversee the development and performance of junior members of our social media team. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
1. Content Creation:
· Guide content creation, working closely with designers, copywriters, and video editors to develop high-quality, engaging content.
· Approve content calendars, ensuring alignment with broader brand messaging and integrated communications plans.
· Lead the social media team to align content with the overall marketing strategy and brand guidelines across various social media channels such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram. Adapt content to suit different channels and formats.
· Multimedia Integration: Work with graphic designers and video editors to incorporate visual elements, such as images, videos, and infographics, into social media posts.
· Maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms and campaign touchpoints.
2. Community Management:
· Oversee day-to-day community engagement and social listening, ensuring responses reflect brand tone and values.
· Monitor brand sentiment and manage issues proactively, escalating where needed.
· Represent Place and client brands at live events and activations, managing real-time coverage and content capture.
3. Campaign Execution & Performance:
· Manage the planning, rollout, and optimisation of social media campaigns across LinkedIn, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
· Analyse campaign performance using analytics tools and dashboards, identifying trends and delivering clear, actionable insights.
· Create detailed monthly and quarterly reports to track campaign effectiveness and demonstrate ROI.
· Innovative Approaches: Propose and implement new and creative approaches to campaigns to maximize reach and engagement.
4. Analytics and Reporting:
· Utilize Analytics Tools: Use social media analytics tools to track key performance metrics and generate regular reports.
· Data-Driven Insights: Provide insights on social media trends, audience behaviour, and competitive analysis to optimize content and strategies.
· Trend Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of social media trends and emerging platforms to keep the brand at the forefront of social media innovation.
5. Social Listening:
· Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities through social listening tools.
· Opportunity Identification: Identify opportunities for engagement and content creation based on emerging trends and conversations.
· Crisis Management: Monitor for potential PR issues and coordinate with the team to address them proactively.
6. Collaboration:
· Lead internal cross-functional teams across design, content, and media buying to ensure campaign excellence.
· Influencer Partnerships: Collaborate with influencers and brand advocates to amplify brand presence.
· Support junior team members through mentoring, coaching, and project management.
· Contribute to internal initiatives that strengthen our agency's creative and digital capabilities.
7. Strategic Planning:
· Content Calendar Management: Manager and approve a comprehensive social media content calendar.
· Lead campaign ideation, channel strategy, content planning, and KPI setting.
· Develop and oversee social media strategies tailored to each client's brand, audience, and goals.
· Monitor platform trends and best practices to ensure strategies remain fresh, relevant, and high-performing.
8. Client Account Management
· Serve as the main point of contact for social media clients, building strong, consultative relationships.
· Lead client briefings, strategic planning sessions, and regular reporting check-ins.
· Translate client objectives into impactful content strategies and ensure delivery to deadline and brief.
Core Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
· years of experience in social media management or digital marketing in agency and working within government sector.
· Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends, including paid social and content performance metrics.
· Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic essential.
· Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
· Ability to generate innovative content ideas and campaigns.
· Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
· UAE Driving License required.
