Position Summary:

The Product Analyst will serve as the analytical backbone for a product area within the data team. This role focuses on translating data into confident, measurable product decisions through statistical rigor and metric governance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Define and govern key product metrics and frameworks (North Star metrics and drivers).
  • Build funnels, cohorts, and diagnostic views to identify and size opportunities.
  • Design and analyze experiments (A/B, multivariate).
  • Conduct causal analysis when randomized testing isn't feasible.
  • Translate findings into actionable insights and drive product decisions (Launch / Improve / Stop).
  • Ensure data integrity and maintain strong relationships with Product, Engineering, and Leadership teams.

Technical Requirements:

  • Advanced SQL and proficiency in Python.
  • Strong understanding of experimental statistics and hypothesis testing.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in product or growth analytics.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Preferred: experience in regression modeling, clustering, or time series forecasting.
