Position Summary:
We're looking for an experienced
Java Developer (5+ years)
to lead backend development for enterprise-grade software solutions. You'll design and implement microservices, ensure system scalability, and drive performance optimization across our applications. As a senior team member, you'll play a key role in architectural decisions, cross-team collaboration, and backend strategy within a fast-paced, agile environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Backend Architecture & Development:
• Design and build scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using
Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate)
.
• Architect
microservices-based systems
ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to deliver seamless, efficient integrations.
Code Quality & Testing:
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Develop
unit, integration, and performance tests
using JUnit or TestNG.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain a high standard of software quality.
Leadership & Mentorship:
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with the Backend Lead to define
development standards and architecture guidelines
.
• Promote continuous learning and innovation across the team.
Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:
• Monitor and optimize system performance using tools like
Prometheus, Grafana, or JProfiler
.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Conduct root cause analysis to drive long-term improvements.
Continuous Learning & Innovation:
• Stay updated with the
latest Java frameworks, tools, and best practices
.
• Introduce new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Contribute to technical discussions, documentation, and team knowledge bases.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of professional experience in
backend development using Java (Java 11+)
Strong hands-on experience with
Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs
, and microservices architecture
Solid understanding of
OOP, design patterns
, and clean code principles
Experience with
SQL/NoSQL databases
(MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Familiarity with
Docker, Kubernetes

CI/CD pipelines
(Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
