Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Moderator based in Cairo, Egypt. The Moderator will monitor, review, and manage user-generated content to ensure it adheres to guidelines and fosters a safe, respectful, and engaging digital environment. Responsibilities include responding to user inquiries, addressing violations of policies, collaborating with teams to enhance community management practices, and providing feedback for content improvement. The Moderator will also track metrics to evaluate and enhance community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to make quick decisions
  • Familiarity with content review processes, user policy enforcement, and platform moderation
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills for clear and professional interactions
  • Experience in conflict resolution, customer support, or community management
  • Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt and adapt to different time zones or shifts
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms for content moderation
  • Knowledge of industry standards for digital safety and compliance is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
