What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

You will be responsible for developing and coordinating lighting designs that meet both aesthetic and technical requirements. Key tasks include:

  • System Design Development:

Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed lighting designs for interior, exterior, façade, landscape, and decorative lighting solutions.
- Technical Analysis:

Perform detailed lighting simulations and calculations to verify illumination levels, uniformity, glare control, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Documentation:

Produce comprehensive technical documents, including accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), fixture schedules, drawings, and design reports for project submissions.
- Integration & Coordination:

Work closely with architectural, electrical, and other design teams to ensure seamless integration of the lighting design.
- Product Selection & Value Engineering:

Recommend suitable lighting fixtures and control components, and propose cost-effective design alternatives that maintain quality and performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement:

Participate in technical meetings with clients and consultants to present design concepts and incorporate required modifications.
- Implementation Support:

Provide design clarifications and review shop drawings during installation, testing, and commissioning.

What You Will Bring (Essential Qualifications)

  • Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience:

3-5 years of total experience in
lighting design

.
- Technical Skills:

Proficiency in lighting design tools and a strong understanding of lighting concepts and design standards.
- Practical Experience:

Proven experience in preparing lighting drawings and BOQs, and working with multidisciplinary design teams.
- Professionalism:

Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Language:

Fluency in
English
