Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Electrical BIM Engineer, based in Cairo, Egypt. The role involves developing and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for electrical systems, producing detailed shop drawings, coordinating designs with various teams, and ensuring adherence to construction schedules. The selected candidate will also perform quality checks, support project delivery teams, and collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

Proficiency in using BIM software and tools such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks

Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power systems, lighting, and low-voltage systems

Experience in producing shop drawings and interpreting design plans

Knowledgeable in construction processes, timelines, and standards

Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-disciplinary teams

Experience with problem-solving and ensuring quality assurance in BIM models

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field
