Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly skilled Home Nurse to provide comprehensive medical and personal care to a patient within their private residence in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care, ensuring the patient's comfort and well-being, and providing support to the patient's family. This role requires not only clinical expertise but also a high degree of discretion, cultural sensitivity, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical and Medical Care:

  • Provide direct nursing care as prescribed by the patient's physician, including wound care, injections, IV therapy, medication administration, and monitoring of vital signs.
  • Perform routine patient assessments and monitor changes in the patient's condition, reporting any concerns to the family and physician promptly.
  • Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment (e.g., ventilators, oxygen tanks, suction machines, feeding pumps).
  • Manage medication schedules, ensure proper dosage, and monitor for side effects.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, and toileting.
  • Provide care for patients with specific conditions such as post-surgical recovery, stroke, dementia, diabetes, or palliative care needs.

Patient and Family Support:

  • Educate the patient and family members on the patient's condition, care plan, and healthy practices.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to the patient.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the patient.
  • Accompany the patient to medical appointments, if required.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential daily reports on the patient's condition and the care provided.
  • Coordinate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and place orders when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Valid Nursing License:
    A current and valid nursing license from your home country.
  • Saudi Council License:
    A valid and transferable license from the
    Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
    . This is a non-negotiable legal requirement to practice nursing in Saudi Arabia.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience. Previous experience in home care, ICU, medical-surgical, or geriatric care is highly desirable.
  • Education:
    Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent nursing diploma.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Clinical Proficiency:
    Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles.
  • Communication:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills in

    Arabic
