Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Operations Specialist located in Cairo, Egypt. The Senior Operations Specialist will oversee daily operational functions, manage key projects, and ensure optimal performance and process efficiency. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, implementing operational strategies, enhancing workflow, and driving process improvement initiatives. The role also involves maintaining effective communication across teams and addressing operational challenges to align with overall organizational goals.

Qualifications

  1. Daily Mall Operations


• Supervise all day-to-day mall operations to ensure smooth workflow.


• Monitor security, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure performance standards are met.


• Handle any operational issues promptly to avoid disruptions.

  1. Tenant Management


• Ensure tenants comply with operational guidelines and lease agreements.


• Respond to tenant complaints and provide effective solutions.


• Coordinate tenant unit openings/closures and maintenance activities.

  1. Maintenance Management


• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance plans for all mall facilities.


• Ensure full functionality of systems (HVAC, fire-fighting, fire alarm, elevators, electrical systems).

  1. Health, Safety & Security


• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and hygiene standards within the mall.


• Review and monitor emergency plans and evacuation procedures.

  1. Budget & Cost Control


• Monitor operational expenses and optimize costs without affecting quality.


• Prepare and submit monthly operational reports to senior management.

  1. Team Leadership


• Lead and supervise operational teams (supervisors, technicians, security, housekeeping).


• Evaluate team performance and recommend development or training plans.

  1. Reporting & Documentation


• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on operations, incidents, maintenance, and tenant issues.


• Recommend enhancement and improvement plans for mall operations.
