Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Magento Developer located in Smart Village, Giza. The Magento Developer will be responsible for leading the development of cutting-edge e-commerce solutions, Working closely with cross-functional teams, and will play a crucial role in all stages of e-commerce development and ensuring our online stores drives business growth.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Magento e-commerce websites, plugins, and themes to meet company's requirements, ensuring performance and security.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and quality assurance to ensure websites is error-free and perform seamlessly.
• Stay updated on the latest Magento features, extensions, and best practices
• Optimize websites for maximum performance, search engine optimization (SEO), and user experience, following best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Magento functionality and integration issues, ensuring a smooth and reliable e-commerce experience for customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with hands-on experience in ECommerce development.
• Proficiency in PHP, focused on the Magento 2.x framework for both front-end and back-end development.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and web services to integrate with third-party platforms and systems.
• In-depth understanding of Magento's code structure, architecture, and data flow, as well as UI/UX principles for eCommerce.
• Good knowledge of performance optimization techniques such as caching, indexing, and code compilation.
• Experience with version control systems like Git, promoting best practices in collaborative code development.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-centric.
