Our platform analyzes companies using a unique blend of Shariah screening, ESG benchmarks, and humanitarian impact assessments, giving investors the insights they need to make responsible and ethical investment decisions.

Our Vision:

We are preparing to launch the Ethical Investor App on the App Store and Google Play, driven by a single vision — to build a better, more conscious investment culture where people worldwide invest only in ethical companies that promote peace, fairness, and sustainability.

Role Overview:

We are seeking multiple Research Interns to assist with equity screening and Shariah-compliant portfolio research. This internship/volunteer work is more than just data work — it's a chance to directly participate in our mission of creating a positive global impact by making ethical investing accessible to everyone.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct equity screening of companies using Shariah compliance criteria (financial ratios, revenue sources, debt levels, etc.).
  • Assist in building and updating Shariah-compliant watchlists and portfolio models.
  • Research and summarize ESG and ethical considerations alongside Shariah compliance.
  • Prepare structured reports to highlight companies that meet (or fail) compliance standards.
  • Contribute to the refinement of our app's screening and analysis framework.

Training & Support:

  • Comprehensive training will be provided in Shariah-compliant finance, ESG research, and company analysis.
  • Interns will be mentored by experienced traders, analysts, and fintech professionals.
  • You will gain practical, hands-on experience in research, analysis, and ethical finance frameworks.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong interest in Islamic finance, ethical investing, or ESG frameworks.
  • Background in finance, business, economics, or Islamic studies (students and recent graduates encouraged).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with financial statements and data research (Excel, Sheets, or similar) is a plus.
  • Passion for combining faith-based values with modern finance.
