Summary :

The Accounts Payable is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, focusing on verifying and recording accounts payable data, reconciling vendor accounts, and resolving discrepancies. The role involves direct communication with vendors, managing the AP inbox, preparing payment data, and supporting month-end close processes. Candidates should have a degree in Accounting or Finance, strong Excel and data entry skills, knowledge of financial controls, and excellent communication abilities. Accuracy, attention to detail, and team collaboration are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities :

●      Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.

●      Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements, and effectively communicate with vendors.

●      Generate reports detailing accounts payable status.

●      Collaborate with receiving to reconcile and resolve receiving errors.

●      Communicating with vendors on any invoicing issues to get the required details.

●      Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word

●      Communicate & answer vendor questions regarding AP & payments of invoices.

●      Assist AP team members in reconciling vendor accounts.

●      Prepare data for vendor payments.

●      Performing monthly reconciliation for all accounts payable and related vendors' accounts.

●      Investigate reconciliation discrepancies in vendor accounts and find solutions to fix issues. skills

Job Description:

●      Dealing with vendor account queries via telephone, meetings, and email, resolving queries promptly.

●      Manage the Accounts payable email box and reply to the vendors' requirements.

●      Support for the month-end close and AP accruals.

●      Communication and follow-up, both internally and externally.

Job Requirement :

●      BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant subject; industry.

●      Experience in participating in teams successfully and providing on-time deliverables.

●      Strong knowledge of financial control systems methodologies (budgeting, segregation of duties, and audit requirements).

●      Strong oral and written communication skills and proven presentation skills.

●      Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers

●      Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software

●      Proficiency in English and MS Office
