  1. HSE Compliance & Regulations


• Ensure compliance with national (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO and international safety standards.


• Develop, implement, and maintain company HSE policies and procedures.


• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.

  1. Risk Assessment & Incident Management


• Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to minimize hazards.


• Investigate workplace incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.


• Lead root cause analysis and ensure the implementation of preventive measures.

  1. Training & Awareness


• Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors.


• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and emergency response drills.


• Promote a safety culture by raising awareness of best practices.

  1. Emergency Preparedness & Response


• Develop and update emergency response plans and procedures.


• Coordinate fire drills, evacuation plans, and first-aid training.


• Ensure the availability and proper functioning of emergency equipment.

  1. Environmental Management


• Monitor environmental compliance, including waste disposal and pollution control.


• Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact.


• Maintain records of environmental performance and compliance.

  1. Reporting & Documentation


• Maintain accurate records of safety audits, training sessions, and incident reports.


• Prepare and present HSE performance reports to management.


• Ensure proper documentation of permits, licenses, and safety certifications.

Qualifications & Experience:


• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.


• 5+ years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in [industry: construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, etc.].


• Certified in NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE certifications.


• Strong knowledge of local and international safety laws and regulations.


• Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response.

Skills & Competencies:


• Excellent knowledge of HSE best practices and regulations.


• Strong leadership and communication skills.


• Ability to conduct training and awareness sessions.


• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.


• Proficiency in HSE management software and MS Office.

Work Conditions:


• On-site and office-based work environment.


• May require travel to different work locations or project sites.


• Availability for emergency response situations.

Job Requirements

Education & Certifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.


• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.


• Additional certifications like IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, or ISO 14001 are preferred.

Experience:


• 5 to 8 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in [industry: manufacturing / Painting].


• Proven experience in implementing HSE management systems and compliance with local and international safety regulations.
