Position Overview

The Senior Presales Engineer – Light Current is responsible for the
technical design, system selection, and costing
of ELV solutions. The role supports sales and tender activities by translating client requirements and BOQs into compliant, optimized technical proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Study RFPs, RFQs, BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Design ELV systems and define system architecture and integration.
  • Select equipment and prepare BOMs and cost estimates.
  • Prepare technical proposals, compliance matrices, and submittals.
  • Support technical clarifications, site visits, and client meetings.
  • Coordinate with vendors for technical approvals and pricing.
  • Support tender submissions and value engineering activities.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics, or Communications Engineering.
  • 5+ years
    experience in ELV / Light Current presales in Egypt.
  • Strong experience with system integrators and large projects.
  • Good knowledge of local codes, standards, and consultant practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

  • Accurate costing and BOQ interpretation.
  • Clear technical communication with consultants and clients.
