Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Mechanical Design and Technical Engineer
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of product design, from conceptualization and detailed 3D modeling to creating technical drawings and providing on-site technical support. This role requires exceptional proficiency in CAD software, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality, manufacturable designs.

Key Responsibilities:Design and Drafting

  • Conceptualization and Detailed Design:
    Develop new mechanical products, components, and systems based on project requirements and specifications.
  • 3D Modeling:
    Create and maintain accurate and professional
    3D models
    using
    SolidWorks
    .
  • 2D Drafting:
    Prepare precise and detailed
    2D manufacturing and shop drawings
    using
    AutoCAD
    and SolidWorks, ensuring all designs comply with relevant engineering standards and internal procedures.
  • Bill of Materials (BOM):
    Generate and manage accurate Bill of Materials for all designs.
  • Design Review and Modification:
    Participate in design reviews and modify existing designs to improve performance, reduce costs, and resolve manufacturing or functional issues.

Technical and Project Support:

  • Technical Documentation:
    Prepare comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and documentation for new and existing products.
  • Manufacturing Support:
    Collaborate closely with the production and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and to troubleshoot any technical problems during fabrication or assembly.
  • Quality Control:
    Assist the quality team by defining critical dimensions and inspection criteria to ensure product quality.
  • Supplier Coordination:
    Liaise with suppliers to define technical specifications for purchased components and materials.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience:
    Relevant professional experience in a design, technical office, or mechanical engineering role (Junior and Mid-Level).
  • Expert level proficiency in SolidWorks
    (3D modeling, assemblies, and drawing creation).
  • Expert level proficiency in AutoCAD
    (2D drafting and technical drawing).
  • Core Engineering Knowledge:
    Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes (e.g., sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding).
  • Technical Skills:
    Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, P&IDs, and engineering standards.
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills. Strong communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Language:
    Excellent command of English (verbal and written) is highly desirable.
