Key Responsibilities:

  • Record financial transactions and post journal entries in line with company policies and standards.
  • Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, payables, receivables, and general ledger entries.
  • Maintain the general ledger and manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Assist in tax preparation, filing, and audit-readiness documentation.
  • Generate financial reports to support management decisions and contribute to budget planning.
  • Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and insights.
  • Support both internal and external audits with required documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent.
  • 2+ Years of experience in accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Previous experience in the oil, energy, or industrial sectors is a plus
