Role Description

This is a full-time role for a General Accountant. The role is on-site and based in Cairo, Egypt. The General Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and managing taxation and compliance requirements. The role also involves collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial management and adhering to company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting principles and practices such as bookkeeping, financial statements, and account reconciliation.
  • Experience with financial tools and software, including general ledger systems and accounting software like QuickBooks or SAP.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and support business decisions.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with different teams and departments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the beauty or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
