Material Controller – Mega2M | 2M PLAST Group

Location: El Shorouk City, Cairo

Company: 2M PLAST Group (Mega2M) – Specialized in PVC Products and Fire Fighting Systems

About the Role:

We are hiring a Material Controller to manage and monitor the complete material cycle — from planning and request generation to post-production reconciliation.

The role ensures that all required materials are available for production on time, minimizes waste, and maintains accurate material records in coordination with Production, Warehouse, and Procurement departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review production plans and identify material requirements (BOM).
  • Conduct Material Requirement Planning (MRP) to define shortages and reorder points.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor material issuance to production and verify actual consumption.
  • Track and record waste, scrap, and returned materials after project completion.
  • Reconcile planned vs. actual material usage and prepare variance reports.
  • Maintain accurate ERP data and generate material flow reports.
  • Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Material Control, Production Planning, or Inventory Management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of BOM, MRP, and production workflows.
  • Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.

Work Details:

  • Location: Mega2M Factory – El Shorouk City (Transportation provided)
  • Employment Type: Full-time, 6 days per week
  • Reports To: Production Manager
