Main Purpose:
To manage and coordinate all mechanical technical office activities, including design review, shop drawings, quantity surveying, material submittals, and cost analysis, ensuring accurate implementation and compliance with project requirements and timelines.
Responsibilities

  • Study and review preliminary designs, working drawings, specifications and cost estimates related to the project.
  • Prepare and issue necessary shop drawings for all allocated tasks.
  • Prepare Quantity Surveying for all Mechanical drawings.
  • Coordination between structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings is crucial.
  • Check technical details and drawings to ensure correct implementation in the field.
  • Prepare work requisition for all required permanent materials and prepare material submittals and follow-up on the approval process.
  • Responsible for preparing invoices, check sub-contractor invoices, deal with the main consultant.
  • Cost break downs for project items.
  • Prepare time schedule for executed work versus planned.
  • Preparation of follow-up report and its conformity with the time schedule.
  • Prepare daily / weekly/ monthly site reports.
  • Review products, analyze materials and determine appropriateness for application to projects.
  • Responsible for communicating with contractors & suppliers.
  • Cost break downs for project items.
  • Ensure that the site is supplied with all documentation and materials needed to carry out the work.
  • Carry out any other duties as and when required in order to meet the needs of the business.
  • Audit on mechanical site works based on projects` needs.

Specifications (Qualifications, Experience, And Skills)

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering "Mechanical Department".
  • Minimum of 3+ years of working experience in a Technical Office.
  • Competent user of AutoCAD, Hap, Elite.
  • Revit competency is a plus
  • Real Estate, Construction background is required.
  • Experience in residential compounds is a MUST
  • Proven experience with technical drawings and details.
  • Technical Office related software skills are required.
  • Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language.
  • Ability to work and perform under pressure.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other team members.
  • Organized, structured, and professional, with a passion for excellence.
