Temenos Transact

As an Associate Developer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based applications. You should have a solid foundation in Java programming, as well as knowledge of key frameworks and tools such as Spring Boot, Ant, Hibernate, GIT, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Preferred knowledge of micro-services, API development, and JSON Web Tokens (JWT) is highly desirable.

· Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Temenos Transact T24 system.

· Design, develop, and implement customizations, configurations, and enhancements to the Temenos Transact T24 platform.

· Write and maintain technical specifications, functional specifications, and other documentation related to the development and implementation of T24 solutions.

· Develop and modify T24 modules using TAFJ, JBASE infobasic, Java, and other relevant programming languages.

· Troubleshoot and resolve defects, issues, and bugs related to T24 applications.

· Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutions.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and infrastructure teams, to ensure smooth integration and deployment of T24 applications.

· Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, assisting them in their professional growth and development.

· Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the Temenos Transact T24 platform and related technologies, and make recommendations for process improvements and system optimizations.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Java development, microservices, API development, and JWT.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· years of hands-on experience as a Temenos Transact T24 Developer, working with TAFJ, JBASE infobasic, Java, AA, DC, FT, Account, SL, SMS, and Security modules.

· Strong knowledge of the Temenos Transact T24 platform and its core modules.

· Proficiency in TAFJ (Temenos Application Framework for Java) and JBASE infobasic programming languages.

· Experience with Java programming and related frameworks.

· Solid understanding of banking and financial concepts, processes, and regulations.

· Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Knowledge of Interaction framework (IRIS) is a great plus.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

· In-depth knowledge and experience with the Temenos Transact T24 platform and its core modules.

· Proficiency in TAFJ (Temenos Application Framework for Java) and JBASE infobasic programming languages.

· Strong programming skills in Java and familiarity with related frameworks.

· Understanding of database concepts and hands-on experience working with SQL.

· Knowledge of AA (Accounting), DC (Deposits), FT (Funds Transfer), Account, SL (Savings and Loans), SMS (System Messaging Service), and Security modules within Temenos Transact T24.

· Experience with web services (SOAP, REST) and integration techniques.

· Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.

Understanding of banking and financial concepts, processes, and regulations.
