Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Cairo. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as posting and processing journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, preparing financial statements and reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The Junior Accountant will also help with audits, budgeting, and tax filings, as well as support the senior accounting team with various accounting tasks.

Qualifications

  • Accounting and Bookkeeping skills
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
