About the Role

We are seeking a
Senior Software Quality Control (QC) / QA Tester [+6 Years Experience]
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual testing, API validation, and basic automation, with the ability to ensure software quality across web, mobile, and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

Software Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Execute manual testing across web, mobile, and backend systems.
  • Develop, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Validate system behavior according to user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

API & Backend Testing

  • Perform API testing using Postman and JMeter.
  • Validate API requests, responses, workflows, and error handling.
  • Conduct backend verification using SQL queries.

Automation Testing

  • Support the team in identifying suitable test cases for automation.
  • Utilize automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress at a basic level.
  • Assist in improving regression coverage through selective automation.

Mobile Testing

  • Test mobile applications under different device and network conditions.
  • Validate UI responsiveness, performance, and compatibility across devices.

Process & Documentation

  • Improve test documentation quality and structure.
  • Contribute to enhancing QC methodologies and testing processes.
  • Ensure professional and clear documentation of user stories, scenarios, and test results.

Technical Skills

Core Testing Skills

  • Strong understanding of Quality Control methodologies
  • Manual testing (web, mobile, backend)
  • Test case design, writing, and documentation
  • Regression, functional, and integration testing

API & Performance Testing

  • API testing using Postman
  • Performance and API load testing using JMeter

Automation

  • Basic hands-on experience with Selenium
  • Basic hands-on experience with Cypress
  • Understanding automation frameworks and when to automate

Mobile Testing

  • Device compatibility testing
  • Responsiveness testing
  • Network condition testing
  • Database
  • SQL query writing
  • Backend data validation
  • User Stories & Documentation
  • Understanding user stories & acceptance criteria
  • Writing clear testing scenarios
  • Professional documentation skills
